22 years ago a story began to be written, which today has become our Family Legacy.
Cava de Oro was born from a family faithful to their destiny, which generation after generation has grown up in the land of the agave, Amatitán, and have dedicated their lives to strengthening what is now Cia. Tequilera Puerta de Hierro.
Our Beginnings
Our history begins around the 90s, when influenced by their parents, our founders: Don Gildardo Partida Meléndez and Doña Leticia Hermosillo Ravelero, began their journey through the agave fields, focused on the planting, harvesting, cultivation and marketing of Agave Blue Tequilana Weber.
With the fortune of a strategic place, they began the construction of the factory next to the agave field, which at the time started with a small Alembic, and later, with the first packaging device.
The Gateway to Agave Landscape
A History that has been formed over time, with effort, passion, and love. Today our Factory is the first of all the distillers to be found on the Tequila Route, at Km 32 of the Guadalajara-Tepic highway. We are the gateway to the Agave Landscape, located in El Arenal, Jalisco.
Innovation in Design
In 2010 we redesigned our bottle, which was a pioneer in adding Tequila to its cap, as a special gift for our customers, and soon after giving life to all the categories that today make up our Family, and later, redesigning for the last time our bottle and label, which allows you to remember the quality of the tequila you consume.
